Thank you for the post. The other thing about vasectomy is that it is not "one and done" - the man should go in every year to make sure that he is still sterile.
That is new information to me, thanks for the insight. I looked up some info about that, including this from a urologist: "Most urologists recommend two sperm-free checks, usually beginning after there have been 25 ejaculations. After that, the chance of a vasectomy failing is 1/2000. So then it becomes how sure do you want to be. I have had some patients tell me they recheck themselves once every 6 months. Most patients never check again after they have had two negative specimens."
